The showpiece is John Ash & Co. restaurant, one of Sonoma County’s original farm-to-table restaurants, offering a beautiful vineyard setting. For the freshest cuisine, Executive Chef Tom Schmidt selects fruits, vegetables, and herbs from our own culinary gardens, including our fig and olive orchards. We also source ingredients from over 30 local farms and food producers. Of course, Vintners Resort provides the perfect setting to showcase the very best wines from regional winemakers and growers.

Bringing a wealth of knowledge and creativity, Executive Chef Tom Schmidt oversees all three of our restaurants at Vintners Resort in Sonoma wine country. Though Tom is an expert in formal culinary methods, his skill is not driven by technique alone.
