KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Greet guests in a warm and friendly manner
- Seat guests by escorting them to their assigned table and hand guests the menus.
- Answer the phone in accordance with restaurant standards.
- Accept, schedule and confirm reservations using Open Table.
- Be knowledgeable with regards to operating hours, all food and beverage menu items and property details and events.
- Handle any guest request or complaint within reason or refer to Manager on Duty when appropriate.
- Effectively communicate with all employees and managers in the restaurant
- Adhere to grooming and appearance standards consistently
REQUIREMENTS
- Valid California Food Handlers Certificate
- One year fine dining restaurant experience
- Must have a flexible schedule and be available nights, weekends and holidays
- Comfortable using Open Table and Digital Dining POS a plus
- Must be able to multi-task in fast paced restaurant environment while maintaining a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Professional appearance and attire.
